Bio

Hi there! I’m Keaton Mullins, a medical illustrator from Chicago.

I specialize in 2D medical illustration, particularly patient education materials as well as editorial and surgical illustration. I have a B.F.A in Communication Arts with a minor in Biology from Virginia Commonwealth University and a M.S. in Biomedical Visualization from the University of Illinois at Chicago.

My proficiency extends to digital illustration using Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator, along with 3D modeling, lighting, and material design using Blender and ZBrush. I’m currently working on a volunteer project designing a web resource to translate gender-affirming care research for a broader audience.
